
David Short, Managing Partner
David Short has been referred to by peers as “straight talking”.
In recent years, David has been involved in teams involved in some of the biggest litigation claims in legal history, following major disasters – Piper Alpha, The RAF Chinook crash on Mull of Kintyre and the Glasgow Air Crash. He has represented victims of 15 air disasters worldwide.
David regularly chairs and presents lectures on personal injury law. He is a Fellow of the College of Personal Injury Law and is accredited by the Law Society as a specialist in personal injury law. He is Scottish secretary of APIL and has been a member since APIL’s inception.
David studied Economics and Accountancy at the University of Dundee and then law at the University of Strathclyde.
